My name is Elise Gaskey.

I’m a second year student at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communication Design. I have the privilege of partaking in DAAP’s outstanding professional practice co-op program, alternating academic semesters with professional experience in Communication Design. 

I’ve immersed myself in visual art and design from a young age. Because of this, I’ve always dreamt of a career where I’m able to use my passion for all things creative, as well as my empathy, problem-solving skills, and unique ideas. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to use my skills to help others and have an impact on the world. With design, I hope to make the continuously changing world more inclusive, accessible, adaptable, and compassionate. 

I love surrealist art, iced coffee, painting, and the color purple.
